Don Pepe Taqueria in Poinciana

Over priced for simple Mexican food. Decent serving size especially in their burrito bowls. Pico is not always fresh and meat is often dry. My biggest problem is a Mexican restaurant that is really cheap on their limes. I always have to ask for extra Pico and limes because they only give you 1/32 of a lime for 3 tacos and 2 tblsp of Pico. See below not exaggerating. Love the staff and environment and would love to change rating of they addressed these issues.

The food at the spot is quality and has reasonable prices. The BEST thing about this place is the decor. There's a great Mexican/Latino ambience with a bit of American flare. The aesthetics make this is cute date spot or a great casual party dinner. The food is Tex-Mex, typical tacos/burritos/fajitas. The menu rarely changes. The supreme burritos and nacho fiesta are the best! The down side:Bugs! On two separate occasions there were bugs in MY PLATE 😫. The staff was very apologetic and didn't charge my meal but because it's happened more than once I can't give them a full five stars.

Nice little restaurant with very friendly staff and yummy food!!! We found it by accident and they even accomodate gluten sensitivity!!

Great food for great price. The food could be a little better quality but it is still very delicious and they have a good variety of dishes not just Mexican. Very welcoming ambiance.

Nice local authentic Mexican food and service

Nice and friendly servers in a Mexican Restaurant with eclectic decor from back in the day. Interesting and funny posters throughtout the restaurant - even in the bathrooms. We ordered shrimp frajitas, enchiladas. Both were very good. Menu has a variety of hispanic food plus burgers and ribs. Good service and food in a festive yet casual setting. My only complaint is that the seats need backs... ugh!Update: Seafood Paella is disappointing. Its well seasoned but very dry. Seafood and chicken is chopped up except the shrimp. No sausage. Avoid this dish.

Was there in the afternoon. Good food good service. Spoke with the bartender who gave us a brief history of the building and area. Very nice experience.

Very nice staff! Food was pretty good. I think the name should be Spanish grill because it’s not just Mexican dishes. I ordered the seafood paella, it was alright! My mother is from Spain 🇪🇸 so of course I’m use to the real thing. It was good though! Good job! Beautiful and clean inside!

This restaurant is super cute, but the seats are so uncomfortable. The is not authentic at all. The rice taste like the taco seasoning that comes in an envelope.

I don't recommend this place, it was a bad experience, the food didn't taste good, and the restroom and kitchen so dirty. even, there was a rusty utensil on the table.

Nice atmosphere, but rice isn't great

Decided to be brave and get some local Mexican food tonight, and are glad we did! The chicken burrito was huge, with tender, tasty meat. But the Korean steak tacos were OUTSTANDING! Tender strips of steak that were marinated in pineapple juice with chopped cabbage, and a side of rice that was so good to soak up the extra sauce, (plus beans and pico to add). Definitely will be going back here. Social distancing enforced.

This is such a great local resturant. The front of the house staff are always very friendly and tentative. The food most importantly is excellent! Their Korean Tacos are to die for. My wife gets the steak and chicken fajitas and they are super tasty! Great place to go. I personally think it is one of the best places on the area hands down!

I have been to this restaurant three times since moving to Poinciana! The food was very good on all but one occasion, when the Spanish rice was a little hard! The restaurant is clean and the service was good each time! A good value!

The place was clean and the decorations were funny but this was clearly a “pretend” Mexican restaurant. I say that because it seemed designed for tourists and not for folks looking for actual Mexican flavor. The food wasn’t terrible but Taco Bell might have a leg up, flavor wise. Service was decent and prices were pretty good. I really want to give it a 3/5 but between the mediocre food, bad salsa, and bad margarita, I have to give it a 2. It is a restaurant after all.

Food was good, but nothing was really great. Service was slow and not all together friendly. Daiquiris were very good. May give it another try after they have been open longer or at least return for a daiquiri in the future.

EXCELLENT SERVICE BUT THIS IS Mexican Food? This a Joke! Extremely disgusting food, really disappointed about this restaurant! I NOT RECOMMEND IT. Bad food with really nasty smell also to go to the bathroom you need have to go through the middle of kitchen trays, which they use for cooking every day, really a disgusting restaurant, you need a better administration to handle the hygiene, really surprised the county not closed this place for bad hygiene
